Z day is fast approaching and what better way to celebrate the end of the Mayan calendar than by throwing the Biggest Zombie Party the world has ever seen. Brisbane Zombie Walk and the Brain Foundation proudly presents THE APOCALYPSE UNDEAD FESTIVAL
Set at Victoria Park, Spring Hill the festival boast a huge day of entertainment and events. The festivities include MUSIC, MAKE UP, MARKETS, MOVIES and many more.
MUSIC:
The Undead Festival will play host to 2 music stages covering a wide range of musical genres.
Stage 1: The Rot and Roll Main Stage will be hosting Live bands and performers ( The Vampers, Danny McCrae, The Green Whistle, Bertie Page Clinic, and many more to be added on the line up. We will also be announcing our headliners closer to the date so stay tuned because it’s a big one.
Stage 2: The Monster Mash Will host Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Breaks, Electronic Music. RnB, Hip hop, Urban Dance music.
MAKE UP SESSION:
If you want to add spectacle to your costumes then drop by one of our Make up Booths. We also have a Splatterhouse Marquee, (sponsored by Gore-geous Portraits) for those wanting some extra fake blood splattered on them for the cost of a gold coin donation. Save yourself the hassle of making fake blood and let our professionals gore you up. No Blood containers are allowed in the venue and you will be asked by security to dispose of them upon entry.
MARKET MAYHEM:
Take a stroll down ‘DIE-gon Alley’ and check out our markets stalls. Get yourself a souvenir or a present for your un-dead loved ones. Stalls by Crazy Contacts, Beserk Clothing, Solitude magazine, Clayton Guns, Trash Street, Little Lala, Ace Comics and many more.
MOVIES:
“There’s no business like Gore Business: The State Library of QLD in conjunction with the BZW proudly brings to you a weekend of Zombie Movie Classics. (List of Movies) Ticket holders gets first priority seating. This event is open to all Brisbane Zombie Walk participants only.
Gates open at 10 am so be there early to avoid the line up.
The Walk itself begins at 3 p.m.
